High School Girls Discipleship Coordinator

The primary functions of this position are to provide direction and vision to the females of Denton Bible Student Ministries in alignment with the distinctives and core values of Denton Bible Church. The position is to encourage female students and leaders to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through learning, discipleship, serving, and small group studies. 
 
1.   Either directly or through designated leaders, oversee the spiritual development of female students through Bible study, discipleship, mentoring, prayer, growing community, and serving others.

 

2.   Walk with female students, volunteers, and female staff through trials and, by God’s grace, see their lives transformed by a growing love, hope, and faith in Jesus Christ. Provide referrals for counseling, as necessary.

 

3.   Impact the lives of female volunteers through the assessment of their spiritual maturity, by challenging them, being a model to them, by teaching them, and encouraging them.   

 

4.   Manage leader application process. Keep leaders current on background checks and training.

 

5.   Ensure female students are provided small group opportunities, connected to female volunteers, and have opportunities for receiving support and guidance, as needed.

 

6.   Facilitate communication for trips, events, and activities and provide general administrative support for Denton Bible Student Ministries.

 

7.   Handle planning and needs for transportation, meals, lodging, activities, parent involvement, leader-student ratio, etc. for trips and events. 

 

8.   Manage parent, student, and leader communication and ensure the church’s database management system is current and accurate.

 

9.   Other duties as assigned
