GENERAL PURPOSE:
Provide leadership, technical expertise, and management of volunteers and part-time technical staff. Create systems and processes that make the technical experience at DBC excellent. Work alongside the production and music staff while supporting the various other ministries and events at the church.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the production team, including volunteers and part-time staff, for Sunday services to help the church effectively communicate the Gospel.
2. Build volunteer teams by cultivating community and helping build relationships.
3. Responsible for the integration and maintenance of AVL systems campus-wide.
4. Schedule, train and inform other ministries to host different events and meetings effectively.
5. Identify AVL needs in other ministries and provide solutions that will help them minister to others more effectively.
6. Manage the coordination and running of all church-wide and special events that require AVL support.
7. Actively seek out opportunities for growth both personally and for the ministry as it relates to the church.
8. Specify yearly budgets needs for the AVL ministry through the budget submittal process and to track and maintain updated equipment.
9. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Three years prior experience in related field
• Experience in network administration, control systems, AV integration and using Apple computers
• Member of Denton Bible Church or willing to become one
SKILLS & ABILITIES (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
• Skilled in all areas of live production, post-production, and technical troubleshooting
• Knowledgeable in volunteer management and budgeting
• Effectively organize, prioritize and lead multiple projects
• Flexibility and responsiveness
• Reliable and punctual
• Possess an attention to detail, problem solving and decision making
